This morning's weather

Things are starting to happen so we are getting a little nervous.  Yesterday we had our first mandatory meeting at 10:00AM.  We reviewed the rules with more emphasis on reviewing the rules.  We were trying to get the timing runs done but Mother Nature is not being very cooperative.  Cool Beans Team 21 (Linda, Alison and Barb)  were Guinea Pigs.  It was really hot and they came back a short time later with a no go decision for the rest of us.  Rose and I took the opportunity to look at the race route and talk about expectations and duties.  Our "ALL  Racers takeoff banquet" was last night and I must say we clean up pretty good.  Back to Mother Nature - there is a possibility that we WILL NOT depart at 8AM tomorrow morning but we will keep you all posted.  I guess there are a few different scenarios that can happen - take-off will be delayed until later in the day tomorrow.  Take-off could be delayed until Wednesday (we have the room another night so we won't need to sleep on the floor of the terminal or in the airplane) but those decisions will be made at a higher level.  We are scheduled for another weather briefing this afternoon at 5PM and will have a better idea. Rose is off to her first timer's meeting and I will be informed as to the status of the timing runs.  If all goes well breakfast is at 6AM tomorrow morning and we will launch at 8AM - wish us luck - it's going to be great!!!!
